Finding it hard to Blog.

I am finding it hard to blog this morning, since my cat, Rico, is demanding my attention. I am not really a cat person. I love my dogs, Labrador Retrievers, English Pointers, Irish Setters. But several months back my wife and kids started getting cats. Anyway, they got this free "female" cat and "she" was named Rita. Rita was the meanest, nastiest cat you ever met. "She" was like a walking razor blade. Anyway, late one night I was sitting in a chair looking out over the back yard and Rita came over to see what I was doing. I picked up the ill tempered cat, patting its head. Rita twisted and turned, and in so doing showed me "her" belly and underside. This was the first time I had gotten a look at Rita, and, well, I discovered that she was a he.

Anyway, long story short. I discovered that Rita was really a Rico, and now the cat loves me. He is as sweet as can be. He follows me around, rubs his head on my legs. It is odd but somehow that cat knew people thought he was a girl, and when I discovered the truth, I became his hero.
